The pain from my back issue has subsided; however, the overly tight muscles and connective tissue remain. Good thing I have dealt with this previously and know what to do to relax and get back to normal flexibility.
Stone continues to gain speed on all fours and consistently wants to stand. Anything that is upright is a tool so that he can get up onto those giant feet of his. A couple of times since our return he has pushed off from whatever he was holding onto and stood for a second or two until he fell back onto his natural cushions. Joan purchased and installed a "fence" to keep him out of the kitchen, so during the day Stone and I are in the main room with the doors to the other rooms closed so that he at times goes around in circles like a goldfish, playing with whatever toy or thing he finds along the way.
I was in good enough shape to start working on the bikes that arrived during our trip (a bike for Joan, the trailer / jogger for Stone and a road bike for me). The second I placed Stone in the jumpy chair he was bouncing. For two straight hours he bounced non stop ... which was good in that he finally got some energy out. With the rain and my back, he has been cooped up and not getting to fully empty his energy cells. Yes, we have had rain, about an inch or more per day with temperatures in the seventies :).
There are a couple of new pictures of him in the Japan album, and if the rain holds off, hopefully we get his first bike ride in this week!
Cheers,
