And we have lift off! Well, perhaps not quite lift off; however, Stone is now a freestanding human being. While enjoying some chicken and brown rice soup, which mom was lovingly feeding him, he stood up and held the pose for about 15 seconds before settling back down on his haunches. He is walking with assistance, and I am sure that in now time flat we will have figured out running and slamming into things.
On the general health of the family: mom is clear and free, Stone has only a bit of residual snottiness and I am on the way to a clear head as well. So, in the matter of a week we have successfully fought off the first cold bug to hit the home. Go team!
Our outing yesterday to get some shots of the fall colors was a bit less than successful as: A. the colors are not quite in full "bloom" and we were mainly on the backside of a hill in the setting sun, so did not get good light for which to shoot. So, hopefully the rain clouds will move away soon and we can snatch a few shots of fall here in Japan.
