I know, long time no post ...
Things are going well, the summer has been mild from a temperature perspective and we have not been affected by the two typhoons that have done some considerable damage in the South of the Island. We have found ourselves in quite the "normal" routine these days.
Stone continues to impress, he can now (while using his hands to support himself) get to a standing position and scoot to the left or right and he can stand for a few seconds before gently setting himself back down on his bum. He loves doing laps in the play area. He goes in circles stopping to play along the way, and to really get him excited, you simply chase him around and he smiles and giggles to now end. Life is good.
On the baby food front, he is now eating three to four "food based" meals a day and thus we are moving toward having a weaned child, which I am sure has Joan pleased. With the new diet, assuming we get him tanked up in the evening he is only getting up once or twice at night, and if we give him a few minutes, he will often go back to sleep.
In other domestic news, we acquired a deep freeze, thus we are fully stocked with meats of all varieties for grilling and such. Making it essential to only shop locally for veggies, fruit and seafood.
We made a day trip to a local rice field that annually uses various types of rice to create a artistic field. These photos and a few others are located in the Japan album.
