In a culinary experiment with Stone we (I) introduced him to small amounts of goat cheese as he had a few bites of pasta from a salad that include the cheese. He gobbled them down and seemingly enjoyed the snack. There was no immediate reaction and I put him down after some play time as usual.  After a few minutes of napping, I heard what I had expected, a coughing and wheezing and screaming baby boy.  The reaction was not as sever as the reaction to dairy; however, all of the same symptoms presented themselves.  So, some bynadryl and a couple   of baby einstein episodes later he began to feel better.  Within about three hours he was back to normal.  So now we know.

He continues to adore all things vehicle.  Not only does he "drive" his various trucks around the house all day, any chance he gets to get behind the wheel of a "big person" car he takes.  So this actually helps when loading up as he detests being put into his car seat if we are not immediately leaving.  So we put him behind the wheel and finish whatever we need to do before taking off.  After another overnight snowfall, Joan was clearing the car of snow and Stone was getting the car ready for her ... pictures here.

We are getting more and more opportunities to get out for short periods of time, and the sun is starting to brighten our day around 5:00 am, and soon enough we will have 4:00 am sunrise and lots of time in the day to play outside.
